OC Tech Alliance partners with CompTIA to represent the interests of the information technology industry in Washington, D.C., particularly small and medium-sized businesses working to create jobs and boost the nation’s economy. CompTIA provides OC Tech Alliance an opportunity to participate in monthly policy webinars to stay up-to-date on the latest tech policy issues in Washington. Our members can also participate, free of charge, in the CompTIA annual DC Fly-in each February. The Fly-in provides an opportunity to meet with members of Congress and hear from experts on the leading tech policy issues of the day.
As part of our partnership with CompTIA, OC Tech Alliance is provided access to up to date information on the policies that support our advocacy efforts.
As a resource for the IT industry at large, CompTIA supports legislative policies that advance free and open competition, promote a highly educated and technical workforce, encourage collaboration and cooperation in ideas and technology, and advance regulations that positively impact the ability of the private sector to effectively research, develop, integrate, manufacture, service and freely sell solutions in the global marketplace.
